Nova KBM won two Euromoney Excellence Awards in 2024, for Best Digital Bank and Best Bank for ESG.
 
The Euromoney Awards have been presented for more than 20 years by the UK business and finance magazine of the same name based on assessments by renowned business and financial journalists. In the financial world, the Euromoney Awards are known as serious and independent awards based on a variety of objective criteria – in addition to business results, other important factors such as innovation, research and the ability to develop new services and customer solutions are also taken into account.

Euromoney Award for the best Slovenian digital bank

Digitalization remains a priority area of development and a strategic focus for the bank. This is also demonstrated by the awards the bank has received for its digital solutions: The online bank (Bank@Net) and the mobile bank (mBank@Net) were named the best bank in Slovenia for the fourth time in a row in a survey conducted by E-laborat.
In addition, Nova KBM was named the best digital bank in the country in 2024 by the UK financial magazine Euromoney. The magazine pointed out that the bank further improved its security measures last year and increased the number of digital transactions and customer engagement. The magazine also cited the chatbot Niko, which answers customer questions on more than 900 different topics with a 90% success rate, as a major customer benefit.

Euromoney Award for the best Slovenian bank for ESG

Nova KBM's ESG strategy focuses on greater sustainability in order to strengthen our competitiveness and attractiveness. At the same time, we strive for systematic management of environmental and social aspects as well as high corporate governance standards which is our way of leading by example.

Euromoney magazine highlighted the progress made in promoting sustainability as one of the most important achievements of the past year. In 2023, the bank adopted the Green Loan Framework of its parent company OTP Group and provided funding to finance the sustainability transition of clients, including large corporates, that are on the path to sustainable transformation.
